The retro festival in aid of EACH ( East Anglian Childrens Hospice) and Cancer Research UK is taking place on Friday 21st June- Sunday 23rd June at Trimley St. Martin Social Club, Felixstowe.

Music and bands from the 60s will be played in our outside music and food area, bring a fold up chair and enjoy the retro atmosphere. Weekend tickets are £20 and day tickets are £12. Camping is free.

The retro vintage fair is free entry on Saturday 21st June from 10-4pm a variety of stalls from vintage hair styling, jewellery, cards, clothing and shoes are available as well as retro games including archery. Tin can alley, splat the rat, etc.

St Elizabeth Hospices Motorcycle Run

Join hundreds of other motorcyclists riding to support your local Hospice.
The St Elizabeth Hospice Motorcycle Run starts at Stonham Barns in Stonham Aspal near Stowmarket, with the first bikers departing from 10am.
After a scenic 30 mile route through Suffolk's picturesque countryside, bikers will finish at the Felixstowe Motorcycle Show in the town centre where there will be lots of motorcycle dealers and clubs attending.
You can sign up on the day from 9am or register online now by visiting the Hospice website. Registration is £5 and motorcyclists can also collect sponsorship for their run. Every pound you raise will go towards helping St Elizabeth Hospice provide specialist palliative care to the local community.

FunDancing's Wiggle-a-Thon 2013

Is raising money for Age UK Suffolk and will take place on Saturday 29th June at East Bergholt's Sport Centre, Heath Road, CO7 6RJ.

This event is open for anyone who wants to help raise money for Age UK Suffolk and have fun wiggling and giggling in one (or more of the 6 x 45 minute uniquely choreographed 'Strictly' (and other style) dance-a-cise session. Single and group entries are welcome as is dressing up (this year the theme is Bobbles and Orange).

Session times 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm (pre-registration is advised). £5.00 per person per session.

A garden in Ipswich will be open to the public in June.

The garden is set in 1/3 acre and includes rose beds, herbaceous borders, a dry stone garden and an island with mixed bed as well as an orchard with 15 fruit trees, asparagus bed, small vegetable area and a compost corner.

The garden, located at 428 Norwich Road, Ipswich, will be open on Sunday 30th June from 2pm till 5pm and entry is £2.50.

Strawberry cream teas and a plant and book stall are available.

Woodbridge Carnival

6 July 2013 from 1pm the procession will move off from Melton Hill and make its way on to the Thoroughfare .

From 5.30pm the action can be found on Kingston Fields .

The Woodbridge Carnival is coming back this year on the 6th July at Kingston Field. Ther will be a processional up Melton Hill along the Thoroughfare and down to Kingston Field for 1.30. There will be displays, games, stalls and performances all afternoon until the carnival draws to a close at 5.30pm. After the carnival local pubs, shops and restaurants will be hosting entertainment and there will be a number of offers to celebrate the revival of the Carnival.

We shall also be having Kez Facepainting attending so that the children also have something to do. And some delicious cakes by Sheena's Cakery.


What is a New or Nearly New Sale?

A New/Nearly New Sale is a chance for you to have a clear out of unwanted clothes, shoes, toys and baby items (both adults and childrens) and make some money. All items should be in good clean & stain free condition.

PLEASE NOTE that this is not the same as a carboot sale where you would sell all unwanted items, it is purely for those items mentioned above.

Shoppers please bring plenty of cash with you as sellers will not be able to accept card or cheque payment.
