Wake up with Nick - great chat, great music and great competitions. Plus, the essentials to start your day with news, views, traffic and travel.

Nick is a local chap, living in the beautiful village of Shotley Gate. He loves music and you will often see him at the Milestone or The Railway and other local venues checking out the many great bands on the Ipswich music scene and more often than not, you’ll catch him behind the decks entertaining the villagers in his local pubs!

He loves all kinds of music and entertainment and has enjoyed chatting to lots of the big acts that have played in Ipswich over the last few years including Jamie Cullum, Katie Melua, McFly, Rik Mayall and the cast of High School Musical.
He also loves the summer festivals and always digs out the tent for the V Festival in Chelmsford.

A massive film buff as well, Nick has over 1000 movies in his collection and will often be spotted at Cineworld checking out the latest blockbusters!

Nick also likes to get involved with as many events around the area as possible and you’re bound to see him with his family at The Suffolk Show, Music Day and many of the shows on at The Regent and The Wolsey Theatre.
