Geoff Hillyer

Join Geoff every weekday from 2pm as you drive home. 

It's not entirely clear how Geoff ended up in radio, as in a previous life he worked in a cinema. But there's always been a bit of him that's wanted to be a broadcaster, and to talk for a living - ask his friends who often say it's difficult to get him to shut up...

Geoff likes cooking and loves trying new recipes. "Trying" is the right word there - sometimes the cooking element doesn't quite work! He's also into football, and is primarily a supporter of West Ham United, but likes to see the local teams do well too. Musically, Geoff will listen to virtually anything, although he loves it when he's in his car and a great driving song comes on the radio, especially if it's a feel-good song!

When it comes to telly, Geoff says that The Apprentice and Harry Hill's TV Burp take some beating. He doesn't get the whole Doctor Who thing though, which often leads to other people in the office criticising him. A lot.
