CCTV images released following burglary in Ipswich

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to get in touch with police (Suffolk Police).

Police have issued two images of a man they want to identify in connection with a burglary and attempted burglary.

It follows an incident at around 3.25am on Thursday 23rd January, where a man approached the front door of a property on Bloomfield Street and attempted to reach for the handle.

The unknown offender stopped after noticing a video doorbell.

Around 40 minutes later a property on Orwell Road was entered and a laptop and wallet containing cash was stolen.

The wallet was later found left in the front garden.

The suspect is described to have a slim build, short hair and wearing a backpack (Suffolk Police).

If you recognise the male in the photos, or have any information about the above incidents, get in touch with police on 101 quoting crime reference numbers 37/4679/20 (Orwell Road) and 37/4731/20 (Bloomfield Street).
