There are currently 14 fire crews at the scene of a major fire in Bramford.
Suffolk Fire Service, as well as crews from Essex, were called at 4.58am today, 6th May, to a large fire at the former Fisons site on Papermill Lane.
Our readers took to Facebook to share their accounts of the incident, one said: "The loud bangs woke me up at about 6am and we have got loads of ash on our cars in the Whitton area."
While another said: "I heard two loud bangs at 6.30am this morning and my windscreen was really dirty."
11 crews from Suffolk Fire and three from Essex are at the scene (Sky Cam East).
Suffolk Fire are urging residents in the Ipswich area, especially in the Whitehouse and Whitton areas, to keep all windows and doors closed due to the huge amounts of smoke and fumes.

Highways England tweeted earlier urging motorists to take care due to the large amounts of smoke blowing across the carriageways between junctions 52 and 53 on the A14, but the smoke across the carriageway has now cleared.
The fire is affecting two four-storey buildings on the site at Papermill Lane, within a month of a previous fire at a two-storey building on the site.
