Police have charged a 69-year-old following a collision last year which left one woman dead.
Officers were called to reports of a six-vehicle collision at around 12.40pm on 20th April 2018 on the northbound carriageway, just before the Copdock Mill interchange.
Four cars and two lorries were involved in the incident.
43-year-old Mandy Snowling, from Ipswich, was driving a red Mazda and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following an investigation into the crash, police have charged Raymond Hoggs of Bridge Street in Needham Market, who was driving on of the HGVs, for causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been bailed to appear before Ipswich Crown Court on 10th September.
