Police appeal for help after man's body found in Ipswich

The body of a man, believed to be 30 to 40-years-old, has been discovered in the town.

Officers received reports at 6.55am today, 30th September, of the discovery inside a business premises in Back Hamlet.

They say the death is currently being treated as unexplained, but there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: "The deceased has not yet been identified and so officers are appealing for anyone who has concerns that a friend or relative may be missing to contact them immediately."

The male is believed to be aged between 30 and 40-years-old, approximately five foot six-to-eight inches tall, of a slim build and dark hair.

He has a number of tattoos including a distinctive one on his right arm and was wearing ripped blue jeans and a white Adidas t-shirt.

Suffolk Police say they think he is a Romanian national due to some personal effects found on him.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting CAD 47 of 30th September.
