A man is receiving treatment in hospital after being stabbed in Ipswich last night.
The 30-year-old was walking along Nacton Crescent at around 11pm when he was attacked from behind.
He was left with a stab wound to his arm, and is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
A cordon has been set up at the scene and an investigation is underway, though no arrests have been made.
A police statement said: "Early enquires lead detectives to believe that this was a targeted attack and are appealing for any witnesses or anybody with any information to contact Ipswich CID on 101, quoting reference 27233/19.
"Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
