Detectives investigating the murder of a 25-year-old man in the town have made a further arrest.
It follows an incident shortly after 7pm on 3rd October on Brandon Road, where the victim suffered stab wounds and was pronounced dead less than an hour later.
He has been provisionally named by police as David Lawal pending formal inquest proceedings.
On Friday 11th October, a man in his 60s was arrested at a property in the town on suspicion of assisting an offender. He has since been released with no further action to be taken.
Two males, aged 26 and 29, who were arrested in connection with the incident have been released under investigation, while a 17-year-old has been bailed until 30th October.
A 48-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and Class A drugs has been released under investigation, and a fifth man aged in his 60s, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has also been released under investigation.
